PARASF COMMANDO TRAINING

PARASF or Para SF, short for Parachute Special Forces, is a special forces unit of the Indian Army. It is one of the most elite and highly trained special forces units in India, and is tasked with a variety of roles such as direct action, special reconnaissance, unconventional warfare, and counter-terrorism operations.

The training for Para SF is extremely rigorous and demanding, and only the best soldiers are selected for this elite unit. The training is divided into several phases, with each phase designed to test the physical and mental endurance of the soldiers.

The first phase of training is the Basic Parachute Course, which is mandatory for all soldiers in the Indian Army. After this, the soldiers undergo a series of specialized training courses that include weapons training, survival training, combat diving, mountain warfare, and more.

The final phase of training is the Commando Course, which is a grueling 90-day course that tests the soldiers' physical and mental limits. This course includes training in close-quarters combat, urban warfare, jungle warfare, and other specialized skills required for special operations.

Overall, the training for Para SF is considered to be one of the toughest military training programs in the world. Only a small percentage of soldiers who attempt to become Para SF commandos are able to successfully complete the training and earn the coveted "maroon beret" worn by members of this elite unit.
